Many of them were translated into English by Sir George Webbe Dasent and published as "Popular Tales from the Norse" in the later 1800s. This book has two translated tales not from Dasent: 'The Three Princesses in the Blue Mountain' is reprinted from publisher David Nutt, and 'Prince Lindworm' was newly translated for this volume. A lovely collection.
