Philbrick shares his research on this successful sea expedition and explains the dynamics behind why this feat of discovery has remained buried. The result is a spellbinding true adventure story. Book is in very good condition, square and tight. Previous owner had written notes in pencil on front endpapers; these have been erased, but some pressure impressions remain in places.
